Hello. I am a crunchy, Christian, stay at home mom to 5. We have a small farm here in northeast Texas. We raise Lamanchas and Mini Manchas, and I use their milk in all of my soaps.
Iby (pronounced eye-bee), also called Iby Goat, was my very sweet and very peculiar La Mancha doe. She was the best queen doe, and she will never be forgotten. She was my first dairy goat, and because I first used her milk in my soaps, they were, quite literally, Iby Goat Soaps. Since then, I have changed my company's name to Willow Soap Co.
Willow has a dual meaning for me. The old house we lived in when I first started soaping was on Weeping Willow Rd. Willow is also the name of Iby's first and only daughter, so it seemed to be a nice way to honor our sweet goaty girls.
Everything I make, my family uses. I put hours of research into every product I make, from the soaps, to the lip balms, to the salves, scrubs, and body butters. Every ingredient, and it's benefit is researched, the final product is trialed by us, and then trialed again by a select few before it is available to my customers.
This business is more than just a little hobby, it's a passion, and I love what I do.
